US elections 2024. Who won in swing states? Results, polls

The results of this year's presidential elections in the United States will probably be determined by the results from seven swing states. These are Pennsylvania, Michigan, Wisconsin, North Carolina, Georgia, Arizona and Nevada. In total, there are 93 electoral votes up for grabs. We will be presenting the survey results from these states on an ongoing basis.

There is a special program “Decision time. America chooses” on TVN24 and TVN24 GO.

Seven key states

This year's elections focus on seven swing states. This Pennsylvania, Michigan, Wisconsin, North Carolina, Georgia, Arizona and Nevada. Of the 50 American states, only in them polls they do not indicate a clear advantage of any of the candidates.

Based on CNN's research, we provide information on when polls close in each state and when we can see the results from each of them.

Pennsylvania – 19 electoral votes up for grabs

When the polls close: at 8 p.m. local time/ at 2 a.m. Polish time.

When to expect results: The announcement of results will vary by county. Large counties will likely announce their absentee ballot results shortly after polls close. It may take several days for statewide absentee ballot results to be announced because officials cannot begin counting those votes until Election Day itself.

Michigan – 15 electoral votes up for grabs

When the polls close: at 8 and 9 p.m. local time/ at 2 and 3 a.m. Polish time.

When to expect results: Vote reporting will vary by county. Typically, the state reports almost all votes by noon on the post-election Wednesday, but some of the state's largest counties, especially Wayne County (where Detroit is located), often end reporting early Wednesday morning.

Wisconsin – 10 electoral votes up for grabs

When the polls close: at 9 p.m. local time/ at 3 a.m. Polish time.

When to expect results: Methods for reporting voting results will vary by county. While the state typically reports almost all of its results on election night, some large precincts will likely report their mail-in votes and votes cast earlier on Wednesday.

North Carolina – 16 electoral votes up for grabs

When the polls close: at 7:30 p.m. local time/ at 1.30 a.m. Polish time.

When to expect results: The first results announced from many counties will be results from postal voting. Voices from the so-called early voting will likely be reported next, followed by votes cast on Election Day. Nearly all of the state's votes are expected to be reported on election night.

Georgia – 16 electoral votes up for grabs

When the polls close: at 7 p.m. local time/ at 1 a.m. Polish time.

When to expect results: The results of the so-called early voting and postal voting will be announced in the early evening, and votes cast on Election Tuesday are to be announced later. Votes from smaller, rural counties will likely be counted first. Nearly all of the state's votes are expected to be counted on Election Night.

Arizona – 11 electoral votes up for grabs

When the polls close: at 9 p.m. local time/ at 3 a.m. Polish time

When to expect results: In this state, no voting results will be announced one hour after the polls close. The first results reported are usually early votes and postal votes. Overall, it could take several days for all votes from this state to be reported.

Nevada – 6 electoral votes

When the polls close: at 10 p.m. local time/ at 4 a.m. Polish time

When to expect results: Until all polling stations are closed, no voting results will be announced. The state will continue counting votes for several days.
