Police officers from Katowice (Silesian Voivodeship) have ended the search for a 43-year-old man who went missing on Friday afternoon. The man was found and handed over to doctors. Earlier, he left the hospital on his own and did not contact his family for several hours.
The 43-year-old's disappearance was reported in the afternoon by the attending physician, who noted that the man had left one of the departments of the hospital at Sokołowskiego Street in Katowice, where he was a patient.
“He did not return to the hospital or home and did not contact his family. The man's health condition requires further hospitalization,” the police said in a statement and appealed for help in the search.
On Friday evening, the 43-year-old was found, the police said.
