The case was commented on in “Kropka nad i” on TVN24 by Michał Kamiński, deputy speaker of the Senate from PSL-Trzecia Droga and Agnieszka Pomaska, MP from the Civic Coalition.

– I think it's what PSL did in the government Donald Tusk(he arranged it – ed.) two things that weighed heavily on us in the Polish-Ukrainian relations. It was a question of grain and a question of exhumation. Polish People's PartyPrime Minister Donald Tusk and Minister of Foreign Affairs Radosław Sikorski took up this matter from the beginning and thanks to the efforts of the government of Donald Tusk and the deputy prime minister of this government, Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz and the minister of agriculture (Czesław Siekierski – ed.) we started our government by solving a gigantic problem – said Kamiński.

– From Pomerania to Warsaw, near Warsaw, where I am a senator, there were problems with Ukrainian grain everywhere – he added.

– We have solved the grain issue, and today Radosław Sikorski is bringing something from Kiev that has not been able to be brought for eight years Law and Justice – he added.

Pomaska: a great diplomatic success

Agnieszka Pomaska, referring to Sikorski and Sybiha's declaration, said it was a “great diplomatic success.” – This shows that in diplomacy negotiations, talks and finding an agreement are very important, and not the kind of saber waving that PiS liked very much. After all, they quarreled with absolutely everyone, they tried – so delicately – to play on this anti-Ukrainian note, but they didn't solve anything, the MP continued.

– At the diplomatic level, they suffered one big defeat, and in the end it was Poland and Polish farmers who lost – she added.

Kamiński: I would feel like a pig if I didn't say it

Kamiński, speaking about Polish-Ukrainian relations, at one point noted that he had to say a certain thing, otherwise – as he put it – “he would probably feel like a pig.”

– Today I can sit in this studio and discuss with you ladies only because at this second, when we are here talking to each other, Ukrainian boys and Ukrainian girls are sitting at the front under Russian bombs that are falling on them every second – he said.

– They also defend me, they defend all our viewers. When we talk about history, which is extremely important and is of great importance to us Poles, we deal with historical matters, we cannot help but remember that the absolutely most important thing – also for our security – is that Ukraine does not lose this war – he added.

– We must remember that every morning, some Ukrainian fathers and Ukrainian mothers check on their mobile phones not the history from a hundred years ago, but check whether their son is alive at the front, whether their daughter is alive at the front, (…). They are not at all interested in what happened at the level of the Polish government, that there is consent to exhumations, he noted.

Kamiński: if Nawrocki was independent, Kaczyński would not have named him

The program's guests also discussed the presidential candidates. This is what the Civic Coalition has to offer Rafał Trzaskowskiand in the case of PiS – Karol Nawrocki. – If Mr. Nawrocki were an independent politician, sure Jarosław Kaczyński would not choose him as a presidential candidate, said Kamiński.

The Deputy Speaker of the Senate did not rule out that the PiS president may decide to replace the candidate. – Tomorrow morning the president will wake up and tomorrow morning Nawrocki may no longer be an independent candidate – he said.
