Findings of the prosecutor's office

The investigation into this case was initiated on February 1, 2024. The basis for initiating the investigation was information from the Internal Security Agency regarding the suspicion of sabotage and sabotage activities in Wrocław by a Ukrainian citizen. – informs the spokesman of the prosecutor's office.

According to the prosecutor's findings, the evidence obtained in the case indicated the suspicion that an organized criminal group operating in Poland engaged in recruitment and organization of sabotage activities for foreign intelligence. The evidence in this regard allowed several people to be charged with committing acts of sabotage or sabotage by participating in or acting on behalf of foreign intelligence.

– It was also established that the suspects, apart from crimes related to acting on behalf of foreign intelligence, also committed crimes of a “typical criminal” nature (assaults, weapons trafficking, drug trafficking). – adds prosecutor Nowak.

The charges brought against Olgierd L. concern this “purely criminal” aspect of the investigation and are not related to acts of sabotage or activities on behalf of foreign intelligence.
