As tvnmeteo.pl forecaster Damian Zdonek explained, during the forecast period, Poland will remain within a vast, multi-center area of ​​low pressure covering northern, central and eastern Europe. Cool and moist air of polar origin will flow from the west.

More sun will appear only over southwestern and partially southern Europe, where the dominant barometric system is the stable, strong, extensive Azores High, bringing sunny aura, among others. in the Iberian Peninsula and partially the Apennine Peninsula.

A wedge of the above-mentioned high pressure will temporarily be visible over Poland this night, which will be associated with clear weather and local frosts, especially in the south and east of the country. There will be traces of rain showers possible in some places. On Saturday, the influence of a shallow bay with a zone of a blurring occlusion front will be visible in the west and north, which will bring light rain and drizzle in places, as well as complete cloudiness.

Saturday in the north and west of the country it is going to be cloudy, and locally up to 1-2 liters of rain per square meter. In other regions, we expect heavy cloud cover with clear weather and no rainfall. The temperature will range from 2-3 degrees C in the east to 5-6 degrees C in the western regions of Poland. There will be a moderate southwesterly wind, with quite strong gusts in the west and north, reaching 40-50 kilometers per hour.

Sunday it will be cloudy and rainy. In the east of the country there may be sleet and wet snow. The sky is expected to clear only in the northwest. Thermometers will show from 2-3 degrees C in the east to 6-7 degrees C in the west of the country. The wind will be moderate, gusting quite strong, southwest.

Monday it will bring us cloudy skies with slight clearing, especially in the center of the country. Mixed rainfall is expected in the south and west of the country – wet snow in the south-east, snow up to 2-5 centimeters in the mountains. The thermometers will show from 2-3 degrees C in the east to 3-4 degrees C in the west and in the center. There will be a weak, changeable wind.

On Tuesday, i.e. Christmas Eve, it will be cloudy, but it will become brighter and clearer in the north and west of the country. According to the latest calculations, snowfall is forecast in the southeast and in the mountains. The maximum temperature will range from 1-2 degrees C in the east to 3-4 degrees C in the west of Poland. The wind will be light, north-westerly.

For the first day of Christmas, i.e. Wednesday, Thursday's forecasts predicted snowfall, but the latest forecasts indicate snowfall heavy and completely cloudy with no precipitation. Thermometers will show from 2-3 degrees C in eastern Poland to 4-5 degrees C in western regions. There will be a weak, changeable wind.

Similar weather is forecast for Thursday, the second day of Christmas. The day will be cloudy with some showers and local clearing. The maximum temperature will range from 0-2 degrees C in eastern Poland to 2-3 degrees C in the west. Variable wind will be light.
