Walking in Christmas on the banks of the Oude IJsse river, a resident of Laag-Keppe – a small town located between Doetinchem and Doesburg in Netherlands – found a man's body in the water. The notified services determined that this was the case 20-year-old Polewho was reported missing in November and an intensive search began.
Special team of divers checked the river for a considerable distance near Doetinchem, as that was where the man was last seen. However, the search yielded no results.
Now, more than a month after his disappearance, the man's body has been found near Laag-Keppel. The police did not provide any information about the circumstances of the Pole's death. The services say that he did not die as a result of a crime and therefore, for privacy reasons, no detailed information will be provided.
