Care service: According to the announcement of the Minister of Family, work and social policy, in 2025, the amount of the care benefit will be PLN 3,287 per month. In 2024, this benefit amounted to PLN 2,988, which means an increase of PLN 299.
Who is entitled to it? Care benefits may be received by people who: they take care of people with disabilitieswho are under 18 years of age. A person who requires care should have a current disability certificate. Indications are necessary permanent or long-term careor assistance to a given person due to a significantly limited ability to live independently. The possibility is also taken into account the need to care for a child during his treatment, rehabilitation or education.
These people can benefit from the benefit: Money are entitled mother or father, actual guardian childand also persons who are obliged to pay maintenance. They can also receive care benefits foster familiespeople running a family orphanage, directors of care and educational facilities, directors of regional care and therapeutic facilities and directors of pre-adoption intervention centers.
How to submit an application? To receive care benefits, you must: submit an application to the appropriate organizational unit in the place of residence. These include: social welfare centers, as well as city and commune offices. However, if we do not want to submit documents in paper form, we can do so electronically via the Emp@tia portal on the website empatia.mpips.gov.pl.
