The body of a man was found in the allotment gardens at Kobylogórska Street in Gorzów Wielkopolski – it was in a rain barrel. The body was discovered by the owners of the plot. According to investigators, these people were staying in a house on the same property. On Saturday morning, they noticed the body of a familiar man.
– The victim is a 52-year-old who owned a plot of land in the same allotment gardens. We know that he was still alive on Friday evening because he was seen by a police patrol. The autopsy did not reveal any traces that would indicate the involvement of third parties. We take into account all versions of events, although in this case it looks like an unfortunate accident, says tvn24.pl Mariola Wojciechowska-Grześkowiak, spokeswoman for the District Prosecutor's Office in Gorzów Wielkopolski.
They will question witnesses
The prosecutor's office initiated an investigation into unintentional manslaughter. As the spokeswoman explains, this classification was adopted so that investigators could carry out additional activities that would clarify what happened before the man found himself in the barrel. – First of all, it is about the possibility of hearing witnesses who have already been identified – says Wojciechowska-Grześkowiak.
