TVN24's “Contact lens” published on Friday on the X platform a short recording made in the European Parliament building. You can see MEPs from the Left – Joanna Scheuring-Wielgus, Krzysztof Śmiszek and Robert Biedroń – who line up for the press conference in front of the microphones.
However, in the background you can hear the voice of a person not participating in the conference – an MEP PIS Dominik Tarczyński, who interfered with its commencement. Left MPs first look at him until Robert Biedroń politely admonishes him. – Dominik, Dominik! “Keep it down,” he calls, while making a gesture with his hand to lower the volume.
Krzysztof Śmiszek reacted similarly, putting his index finger to his mouth.
– I want to be heard when you are there – shouts Dominik Tarczyński from outside the frame. – I know I can hear you – says Biedroń. The exchange does not end there. – But I also want to benefit from your popularity – the PiS politician continues. – At least for a moment… – Biedroń replies, laughing. There are smiles on the faces of all three Left MEPs.

The earlier one recorded MEPs from the Left, Joanna Scheuring-Wielgus, and PiS, Anna Zalewska, talking to each other, laughing and hugging. “Can it be fun between the representatives of the coalition and the opposition? Maybe!” – commented “Szkło kontaktowe” then, and the video caused a wave of comments on the Internet.
A PiS MEP commented on the content of the video on social media. “Yes, we talk to each other,” she wrote on the website X. The Left MEP did not comment on the matter.
