The Ministry of Development and Technology has issued a warning to entrepreneurs who have received emails with information about the need to verify data on the Biznes.gov.pl website. “The ministry has nothing to do with the messages sent,” the ministry said.

“Recently, entrepreneurs have been receiving emails with information about the need to verify data on the Biznes.gov.pl website. The message contains a link leading to a website posing as a Trusted Profile. Victims are asked to provide payment card details (its number, expiry date and the CVV/CVC code on the back of the card), login and password for online banking or other information. If the entrepreneur enters their data on the fake website, the fraudsters will gain access to their money and personal data,” it was written on the MRiT website.

The information emphasizes that the Biznes.gov.pl website never asks for payment card details, login and password for online banking or other information.

“Before entering your data when logging into electronic banking (payment card number, its expiry date and CVV/CVC number, login and password for online banking or personal data), carefully check the address of the page you are on. Be especially careful if you were redirected to it from a link sent in a message. Carefully read authorization messages and do not confirm transactions that were not ordered by you,” the ministry appealed.
