One of the guests at the CasaSur Palermo hotel was Bret Watson. The man was preparing for a wedding here. Right in front of him, he saw the tragic death of the star with his own eyes. “We were looking out the window of our room at the swimming pool to show the organizer the view from the hotel. We saw Liam fall…so we immediately ran to the balcony to see what it was, and when we looked down, we saw Liam lying on the ground,” he told TMZ. The sight of Payne falling will remain in his memory for a long time. “Later, The wedding planner and I looked at each other and all we could think was: oh my God, this is really happening,” Watson added.
