Albania attracts an increasing number of tourists, and some of them visit this country for aesthetic medicine services – according to information provided by the N1 television portal. “It is estimated that Albania's medical tourism sector generates between 200 and 250 million euros annually,” it added.
Albaniaa closed country years ago, ruled in a dictatorial manner, now attracts millions of tourists every year. More and more of them are looking for help in the field of aesthetic medicine, i.e. a more beautiful smile or fuller breasts – informed the portal of N1 television, which broadcasts in the Balkan countries.
One of the quoted aesthetic medicine doctors from Albania admitted that clients come to his clinic from… Italian, France, Belgium Whether Switzerland. He explained their interest in “European standards at a fraction of European prices.”
Rates for treatments

However, the president of the Albanian Medical Association, Fatmir Ibrahimaj, warned that both foreign and domestic patients should avoid relying solely on online advertisements and be cautious about where to have their procedures performed.
Monika Fida, a dermatologist and university lecturer in Tirana, pointed out that most foreigners “beautify their smile or enlarge their lips” in Albania. She added that her clinic is visited by about 1,000 foreign patients annually, N1 reported.
