At the beginning Beata Tadla asked Crane how she remembers her childhood. – It was really difficult. When it comes to upbringing in other realities, with what they had tolet's face each other as children (…). Not celebrating any holidays, not celebrating any special days, not celebrating birthdays. We couldn't even help ourselves to the candy that children brought to school – said Żuraw. The model emphasized that she was never one of Jehovah's witnesses. – I was just growing up. Just to be clear, she explained. For years, the influencer experienced exclusion from her peers. – I heard that I can't play with them because, for example, mom and dad don't allow it. They were simply afraid of it, she said. Żuraw also revealed that, as a small child, she had to go from house to house and teach others about Jehovah's Witnesses.

The model revealed that there are many rules that Jehovah's followers must follow. – They cannot smoke cigarettes or drink alcohol. Back then, there was also something that women couldn't study. We couldn't take part in proms. (…) All issues of divorce and breakups excluded people from the community, she said. The one that sticks in my memory the most is the Crane image of Armageddon, not only adults but also children were frightened. According to Jehovah's Witnesses, those who did not follow the rules were to be damned. – I couldn't sleep at night, I was afraid that if I ate the candy, I would buy some gift St. Nicholas Day to a classmate, I will die in this Armageddon, she recalled. Aleksandra Żuraw was able to find several positive aspects that resulted from such an upbringing. – I think courage in proclaiming your values. I had the assertiveness to stand my ground.
