In the town of Alwernia in MaĆopolska, four men broke into a house, severely beating two people and also destroying the premises. All four were detained. We received the first information on Kontakt24, and the police have already issued a statement.
On Thursday, August 29, at approximately 5 a.m., officers from the Police Station in Alwernia went to the site of a reported intervention where two men were allegedly beaten.
“On the spot, the police determined that four perpetrators had broken into one of the houses, destroyed property and severely beat two men. The injured parties were immediately taken to hospital,” the MaĆopolska police reported.
Four people were detained
A few hours later, all four perpetrators, aged 19 to 46, were arrested in ChrzanĂłw County.
– After spending the night in the detainee rooms of the ChrzanĂłw police station, they were brought to the District Prosecutor's Office in ChrzanĂłw. The evidence collected provided a basis for charging them with, among other things, violating the peace of the home, destruction of property, and assault resulting in serious bodily harm – the police report.
The District Court in ChrzanĂłw agreed with the prosecutor's request and applied a preventive measure in the form of temporary arrest for three months against the suspects. The men face a penalty of up to 10 years of imprisonment.
