The Christmas display at the White House includes a tall Christmas tree surrounded by a carousel, created in the style of an amusement park, bells and a ceiling imitating falling snow. The recordings that have just circulated online show that all the decorations of the residence include, among others: 83 Christmas trees, PLN 165,000 Christmas lights, 28 thousand decorations and over two thousand paper doves. The first to see the Christmas displays were members of the National Guard families, who were invited by the First Lady to celebrate the decorated residence together. Joe Biden's wife, at a separate ceremony, thanked the volunteers who helped with the decorations both inside and outside the White House. “This wouldn't be possible without your work. It's amazing to watch you and your families transform this space year after year,” said Jill Biden.
The White House is ready for the holidays. Gingerbread Mansion – not to be eaten
The White House's main Christmas tree, a tall Fraser fir from North Carolina that is anchored to the ceiling in the Blue Room, is at the center of a colorful carousel with reindeer, swans and other animals. The Christmas tree is decorated with multi-colored lights and Christmas sweets. You can easily read all the names of the US states on the Christmas tree. What's worth paying attention to is this big gingerbread White House. Its dimensions are impressive, but the real impression is the number of ingredients from which it was made. These are: 25 sheets of gingerbread dough, 10 sheets of sugar cookie dough, 29.48 kg of lozenges, sugar paste, 20.41 kg of chocolate, 22.68 kg of royal icing and 4.54 kg of gum paste.
