Now investigators have determined that four proceedings that were undertaken were prematurely discontinued. In September 2023, the remains of three newborns were found in the basement of this house. According to investigative findings, there has been a mental and physical abuse of children for 28 years, incest and finally the murder of children.

The case came to light in September 2023, when the house in the basement of the house in Czerniki in Kashubia was found The bodies of three newborns. The allegations, including triple murder and incest, were heard by 55-year-old Piotr G. his daughter, 21-year-old Paulina, heard allegations of two killings and incest. Mental and physical abuse over ten children was to reach over 28 years.

The District Prosecutor's Office in Kościerzyna has long received signals that something bad was happening in the family. Within a dozen or so years, she conducted a total of five proceedings in the case of Piotr G. – the first in 2011, i.e. 12 years before digging the bodies of newborns.

The last proceedings were initiated a few days before the macabre discovery and was open. Four in these years, however, were discontinued.

– Investigators who checked these four progress, in the light of what had happened, the discoveries of this crime, determined that these proceedings were prematurely discontinued. They were all taken again and attached to the main case – prosecutor Mariusz Duszyński, spokesman for the District Prosecutor's Office in Gdańsk, told us.

They concern, among others mental and physical abuse over children.

The prosecutor's office also checked the actions taken by police officers, employees of the Social Welfare Center in Stara Kiszew and court curators, under which the family was care. In December 2024, investigators determined that there were no attitudes to suppose that they did not fulfill their duties.

The fact that four proceedings of the Kościerzyna prosecutor's office were prematurely discontinued was the first to inform the portal Dziennikbaltycki.pl.

Murder of newborns, incest and bullying

55-year-old Piotr G. heard allegations of triple murder of newborns, incest and mental and physical abuse over ten children. It was to take this over the past 28 years. G. also heard the allegation of committing sexual deeds to the detriment of two daughters – one of them in combination with physical and mental abuse.

The man confessed to some of the crimes alleged. His daughter, 21-year-old Paulina, heard the allegations of two killings and incest.

The date of the investigation into the corpses of newborns found in the autumn of 2023 in the basement was extended until June 30, 2025.

– The prosecutor is currently awaiting the preparation of psychiatrists, psychologists, a comprehensive opinion on suspects. – added prosecutor Duszyński.

If the opinion shows that the suspects were cleaned or had a slightly abolished sanity, the investigation will end with an indictment. However, if Piotr G. or his daughter Paulina were insane, the prosecutor's office will discontinue the investigation and direct the application for the use of a preventive measure in the form of a closed psychiatric institution.

Both suspects are still in temporary detention – it was extended until June 6, 2025.

In September 2023, the remains of three newborns were dug in the basement of the house in Czerniki. The police arrived at the place when she received information that 21-year-old Paulina was pregnant and the child was lost. After the death of her mother, the woman lived in Czerniki with her father and brother.
