On one of the streets of Bródno there was a dangerous trap for drivers of passing cars. There was a hole in the roadway, and below it a much larger hole.
Municipal guards from the school patrol of the 6th Local Unit checked the road infrastructure near schools in the afternoon on August 7.
“During an inspection at the school on Balkonowa Street at around 6:30 p.m., they noticed a hole in the asphalt, and underneath it a deep ravine between the roadway and the parking spaces where the cars were parked. The sinkhole was about 50 centimeters deep,” the Warsaw City Guard described in a statement.
The guards secured the dangerous place and notified the city's technical officer on duty. Half an hour after the notification, a repair team arrived at the scene to repair the failure.
