The camera of an unmarked Speed group police car recorded a dangerous maneuver by a Toyota driver. The 57-year-old avoided an unmarked police car that had stopped at a railway crossing when the signal was flashing red.
The incident occurred at a railway crossing in Chromin (Borow commune). Traffic policemen from Garwolin, part of the Mazovian Speed group, stopped their police car in front of the railway crossing. Other drivers coming from the opposite direction did the same.
Fine and penalty points
– At one point, the Toyota driver, ignoring road signs and signals, drove through a railway crossing. The driver did not know that he had passed an unmarked police car, and a police camera recorded his irresponsible behavior. The police issued the man a fine of two thousand złoty and 15 penalty points – informed Deputy Commissioner Małgorzata Pychner, spokeswoman for the Garwolin police.
The policewoman also reminded that the safety rules applicable at railway crossings have not changed for years. – Maintaining special caution is absolutely the most important of them. People who commit traffic violations in the areas of railway crossings must reckon with the consequences – emphasized Deputy Commissioner Pychner.
