According to the audit, Pekao Bank, which belongs to the PZU Group, sponsored entities, initiatives and events related to PIS. In total, he was supposed to allocate PLN 23 million for this purpose. In addition, according to the document, the bank's management board had 18 advisors whose salaries cost PLN 30 million, of which PLN 4.6 million was earned by Witold Ziobro – the brother of the president of Suwerenna Polska, a PiS MP, and a former Minister of Justice. In my opinion, there were frauds, scams, and campaign financing. It turns out that the “Gazeta Polska” clubs received several million złoty in the election campaign to conduct a supposedly referendum campaign, of course coinciding with the PiS campaign for parliament – said Kropiwnicki.

He also referred to 18 PZU and Pekao advisors who earned a total of PLN 30 million. Among them is the rector of the University of Warsaw, Alojzy Nowak, who was supposed to earn PLN 4 million thanks to PZU. – If someone earns over PLN 50,000 a month for several years, then over PLN 70,000, has a super expensive company car, unlimited possibilities of using the company's resources, and over these several years there are traces of him appearing around 30 times in the company, then I really have the right to say that it was a sham contract – said the deputy head of MAP.
– Really, he earned like a president, but did he do the job? I have serious doubts – said the guest of “One on One”. He later clarified that he earned “a little less than a president”.
The damage occurred in 2009, Rydzyk reported it ten years later. He received 10 million in compensation
When asked what else emerged from the audit, Kropiwnicki said about the report made by the father Tadeusz Rydzyk damages after more than ten years. Rydzyk was to receive compensation in the amount of PLN 10 million. – Tadeusz Rydzyk was treated by all companies like a golden calf. (…) Few people could afford that the damage occurs in 2009, they report it in 2020, i.e. after 10 years and in 2023 they receive PLN 10 million in compensation – said the deputy minister.
He explained that it was “damage to the geothermal process”. – It supposedly happened in 2009, but it was reported only after ten years and after the elections a decision was suddenly made that these compensations had to be paid – he added. He noted that this amount had been paid.
– Many people have some issues with insurers, but after 10 years someone suddenly remembers that they can report it and suddenly receives this compensation. It looks really strange – he admitted.
