Fast and extravagant cars, a small fortune given away to fans and those in need, businesses opening and closing. Probably everyone who is even slightly interested in the Polish side of the Internet knows who Buddha is. Now the media is talking about him again. This time due to an arrest made by the Central Police Investigation Bureau. In the background: illegal gambling.

The childhood and youth of the Krakow resident, born in 1998, were not easy. When he was only four years old, he was involved in a car accident that killed his grandmother and seriously injured his mother. Buddy's father was a homeless alcoholic who died of a brain tumor. The YouTuber spoke with regret about his deceased parent. – If he did what he could, he'd be a damn good guy. He was engaged in construction, but in a way that he could do everything on his own with three or four friends, without establishing any company – he said in one of the interviews. He himself has always emphasized that he avoids alcohol and did not even touch it on his 18th birthday.

One of the consequences of the 2003 accident was his mother's mental problems. — A damaged head and long lack of psychiatric treatment resulted in, as I say, at At 6 p.m. she was able to come in and praise her, and at At 6.30 p.m. she was able to drive in without a shoe – he described. Their relationship ended when the YouTuber turned 18. On his birthday, his mother allegedly told him to leave the apartment they both shared.

– Mom thought it would be better for me, it would be easier. […] She kicked me out on my 18th birthday right after I came home from school at 18 and she thought it was a good decision. She had this disorder. She was sure that the decision she was making must be the right one. It cannot be that the decision she makes is wrong at all – the creator reported in the online program “Duży w Maluchu”.

Fast and expensive cars

The YouTuber bought his first car, worth PLN 2,500, when he was 16, after returning from working as a dishwasher in Great Britain. He said about this experience that he was deceived by a friend who persuaded him to go.

The following years meant hard work for Buddy – and, as he himself admitted, not always honest work. Sometimes he worked as a paid ride driver for several hours a day, sometimes in a call center, “selling people the worst crap.” As he claimed, he earned up to PLN 10,000 a month.

His first “own” business was a car rental company. At the same time, he began his career as an internet creator, collaborating with more recognizable influencers at the time, including MichaÅ‚ “Boxdel” Baron. The rental shop closed after one of the customers crashed one of the cars and fled the scene.

Help in the spotlight

He found his niche among well-publicized and directed aid campaigns. Sometimes he gave money to spectators (occasionally contributing to the blockade of a large part of the city, as was the case in Rzeszów, where Buddha announced that he would pay for refueling anyone who came to the gas station he indicated), sometimes he helped animals (e.g. the Lower Silesian Inspectorate of Protection animals) and sometimes children. Every year he donated a significant amount to the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity – he started with PLN 10,000. PLN, and in the last edition of WOÅšP he put PLN 100,000 into the can. zloty. For this purpose, he put on a fake beard and disguised himself as an old man.

Probably the best-directed action was the donation of PLN 100,000. PLN to the Children's Home in DÅ‚ugie in Podkarpacie. Instead of giving a transfer or an envelope with cash to the management, Buddha left a box wrapped with a chain and a padlock at the door of the building. The code to the box was given to the editor of a local news portal, and during interviews following the incident, Budda alternately assured that he knew nothing about this act of charity and reminded listeners that mentions of a “box full of cash” had appeared on his profile even before this event. .

Impressive lotteries

However, the YouTuber gave away more than just money – during two lotteries he organized, viewers could win, among others, a BMW M3 and a Mercedes A45 AMG, an Audi RS6, a Toyota Supra and three BMW e46s from 2000, as well as iPhone 15s and Acer laptops. Nitro 5 and PlayStation 5 consoles. At the peak, the draw broadcast was watched by 700,000 people. people, which allowed the creator to break the Polish record in live broadcast at one time. Two fans also won gold bars worth PLN 2 million – for this purpose they underwent eliminations prepared by Buddha.

Shortly before the flood that hit Lower Silesia, the YouTuber revealed that he intended to stop his activity. He claimed that he was being blackmailed and that the Internet had become too toxic a place for him. However, when the crisis occurred, he funded the construction of houses in Paczków for four families who lost their belongings.

In the meantime, the Krakow resident made a film about himself entitled “Budda. Dzieciak '98” and founded the DOZE company. However, he argued that it would not be an ordinary clothing brand, but a community in which his fans would be involved. Currently, you can see three products on the brand's website: a black T-shirt, a white T-shirt and a sweatshirt (black).
