Donald Trump honors Bitcoin? Which did not happen in the White House

Since winning Donald Trump, the subject of the cryptocurrency and Bitcoin market is constantly present in the public debate. The words and entries of close collaborator Trump, Elon Musk, have a similar impact on the course of this virtual cryptocurrency.

Therefore, recently a recording of a fragment of the program “The Ingraham Angle” of right -wing American television Fox News has appeared on the web. On him we see Donald Trump showing the presenter Laura Ingraham around the oval office. In the video, the American president pushes the curtains behind which there is a gold -plated frame, and a document. On it we read: “Bitcoin. Equal with an equal. Electronic cash system”. Under this header, potential benefits of using Bitcoin as a common form of payment are written. The rest of the text is illegible. “Trump shows Laura the White Book of Bitcoin,” we read in the belt, and in the background you can hear the American president who says: “You think Joe Biden would do it? I don't think.

The video appeared, among others On the English account of The Bitcoin Conference, which promotes a series of conferences he organized on Bitcoin. In one of them, in July 2024, Donald Trump himself, then candidate in the presidential election, took part in Nashville. During the event, he said that the US would become a “planet's cryptostolic and the bitcoin superpower of the world.” “What a great time to live” – ​​commented the author entry with a recording, which was displayed over 326 thousand. times. Internet users delighted with the alleged presence of the document in the White House wrote: “It is a sign that something great is coming”; “Extremely historical moment”; “It's great!”

The video also appeared in the Polish network. One of the Internet users on March 22, 2025, made a post from the conference account and wrote: “If you don't believe that Bitcoin has conquered the White House, see it!” (original spelling). This time the video displayed less than 10 thousand. Internet users.

However, the document we see on the recording is not real. This was noticed by some of the Polish Internet users. “Cool. But it looks like a pipe”; “Fake …”; “Fake and you duplicate it idiot …” – they commented (the spelling of all posts original). And they are right because the recording was converted. What really hangs in the oval office?

A fragment of the program of March 18, 2025 was used for a fake video, when after an interview the American president invited a television team to show around the oval office. At the very beginning, the president showed Laura Ingraham Rose Garden, we see workers who work on the pavement. Then the US President and the journalist moved towards the office. There, Trump first showed paintings – mainly portraits of his predecessors, including Jerzy Washington and Ronald Reagan. Then he showed dark curtains hanging on one of the walls, which according to Internet users is to be the white book of Bitcoin. However, in fact, the document hanging there is a declaration of independence of the United States of July 4, 1776. The president and presenter moved towards her, and he explained that the curtains were aimed at protecting the document from light. He then unveiled the curtains, and the operator approached the golden frame, behind which the historic legal act was located.

So the video distributed by Bitcoin supporters is assembled. This can be seen in the first seconds of the recording, when after exposing the curtains of the alleged “White Book of Bitcoin” it looks like she was trembling, wavy and changing its size, trying to adapt to the frame. The inscription on the television bar was also changed. In the first second we see what you could actually read when watching the program, or “an exclusive trip around the Angle oval office”. For the rest of the video on the original inscription, the one was applied about Bitcoin.
