“Euphoria”. Investigators revealed the cause of death of Angus Cloud, the star of the series

Angus Cloud, 25, died of an “accidental drug overdose,” investigators revealed. The actor known from the series “Euphoria” passed away at the end of July. Just a week earlier, his father had died.

The Alameda County Coroner’s Office said Thursday that Angus Cloud’s cause of death was an “accidental overdose” of a lethal drug mixture. Actor died on July 31 in his family home in Oakland, California.

25-year-old Cloud was known mainly for the role of Fezco in the HBO series entitled “Euphoria” – a drug dealer who lives with his grandmother, helps her and takes care of his younger brother.

After the actor’s death, the family announced that his father had died just a week earlier, and Cloud was struggling with mental health problems, which he had also openly talked about. Cloud’s co-stars said goodbye to him on social media. “You were a beautiful, gentle soul. You left too soon,” Kathrine Narducci wrote on Twitter. “There was no one like Angus. He was too special, too talented and definitely too young to leave us so soon,” said director Sam Levinson in a statement.

A few days after the 25-year-old’s death, his mother, Lisa Cloud, wrote on Facebook: “He did not intend to end his life. As we hugged each other goodnight, we told each other how much we loved each other and he said he would see each other in the morning.” She added: “We may learn that he tragically overdosed by accident, but it is clear that he had no intention of leaving this world.”
