By the end of the week, the weather in Poland will be different for the eastern and western regions, all due to two pressure centers. The next few days will bring significant cooling.
The weather in Europe is currently shaped by two powerful pressure centers. A low from the center over northern Germany and a high over Russia. The former brings humid air with rainfall and snow and moves to the east of Europe. However, its journey is stopped just above our heads by an anticyclone, i.e. a high pressure.
– That's why there will be two weather conditions. In the east it is dry and colder, while in the west it is warmer and wetter – said tvnmeteo.pl forecaster Tomasz Wasilewski in the program “You get up and know”.
The expert also added that this situation will persist until the end of the week.

Weather for the weekend
The upcoming weekend will bring quite calm weather. There may be small amounts of rain and sleet, but clear showers are also forecast.
– The temperature will be in the range of approximately one to 5-6 degrees Celsius. We forecast 1-2 degrees in the east, 5-6 degrees in the west, Wasilewski emphasized.

It's cooling down
The next few days will bring changes and the cooling predicted by forecasters.
– After December 11, i.e. next week, it will get much colder. Even during the day there may be light frost in eastern Poland, or around zero degrees Celsius. We will feel harsher winter air, certainly for several days, the expert added.
