– If we consider war in Ukraine as an act not only military, but also political with all its features, i.e. financial and social, infrastructural and economic issues, the situation is far from ideal – assessed the Chief of the General Staff of the Polish Army General Rajmund Andrzejczak at the NATO headquarters.

The Polish commander at the press conference after the meeting of the chiefs of general staffs of the 31st NATO countries he added that the effort that Poland is making at the political, social and military level in the support provided Ukraine it’s huge.

– But Poland is not the only member of NATO and the European Union. I say it diplomatically, that we would like to be an inspiration for others to send more of what the Ukrainians need on time – emphasized General Andrzejczak.

When asked if he shares the president’s opinion Czech Petr Pavla, who in an interview with the British daily “Guardian” stated that the Ukrainians will have only one chance for a successful counter-offensive this year, replied: “It’s a question for General Załużny or President Zelensky, how many counter-offensives they plan.”

– This is also a question for us, as NATO, the European Union, the entire Western civilization, whether we have sent enough so that the Ukrainians can not only keep fighting, but also win, because the goal is not to fight, but to win – he added.

He reiterated that, as Poland, we have no reason to feel any remorse when it comes to helping Ukraine. – We are sending huge amounts of equipment, ammunition, warfare. They are on time, they are of good quality – it must be emphasized – they are efficient. We ship as much as possible. We would like to be an inspiration to everyone to send as much as we do,” he repeated.
