The President stressed that due to the official visit of the President of the Republic of Korea Yoon Suk-Yeol and his wife Kim Keon Hee to Poland on Thursday, all facilities under the control of the President of the Republic of Poland are occupied – both the Presidential Palace and the Belvedere Palace. – In connection with the above, I asked the Minister of Defence Mariusz Blaszczak for making the room available for this meeting with a wide spectrum of the political scene in Poland, as I have usually done so far, to convey information from the NATO summit in a more closed formula, where a little more can be said – explained the president.

– And since there has been a consensus so far when it comes to building and strengthening our security, I have no doubts that it is justified to share this information with the most important politicians in Poland who decide on Polish matters, for example by voting in parliament. And that’s what’s going to happen,” he added.

The meeting of the Security Council will be attended by, among others: the Prime Minister Mateusz Morawieckideputy prime minister and president of PiS Jaroslaw Kaczynski and the Marshal of the Senate, Tomasz Grodzki. He will represent the Civic Coalition Tomasz Siemoniak, The Left – Adrian Zandberg. The meeting will also be attended by representatives of the PSL and the Confederation.

National Security Council

The National Security Council is an advisory body to the president on internal and external state security. It is composed of: the Marshals of the Sejm and the Senate, the Prime Minister, the heads of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of National Defense and the Ministry of Interior and Administration, the minister coordinator of special services, the heads of groupings with a parliamentary or deputies club (or the chairmen of these clubs), the heads of the president’s office and the National Security Bureau. The meetings of the Council are convened by the president, who also defines their topics.
