The journey of a 36-year-old resident of Lublin ended with a police check. The man was driving along the S17 route at a speed of 215 kilometers per hour. Two small children were traveling with him. The driver was fined PLN 5,000 and 15 penalty points.
The 36-year-old was detained in the Garwolin district. Not only did he exceed the speed limit by 95 kilometers per hour, but he also turned on his high beams and forced other drivers to move out of his way. The man risked not only his safety and that of other road users, but also the safety of two children who were traveling with him in the car.
Mandate and points
As it turned out, this was not his first offense; He had previously been convicted of speeding.
“Therefore, the police, in accordance with applicable regulations, fined the man as part of the so-called recidivism, which means that the fine for speeding is twice as high as the one assigned to this offense,” explained the spokeswoman of the Garwolin police.
