Gdynia Redłowo. The aggressive passenger attacked the SKM conductor

In Gdynia, the passenger attacked the employee of the Fast City Railway. The 42-year-old hit the conductor on the head. Policemen detained an aggressive, drunk man. – We are doing everything to present men by this – said Jolanta Grunert, spokeswoman for the Municipal Police Headquarters in Gdynia.

“There is no and there will never be permission to attack PKP SKM employees or passengers. Every raising of the hand, every act of aggression, will be stigmatized by us,” said in a short communiqué the Tri -City Szybka Miejska Company. And this situation occurred on Friday around 17:00 at the Gdynia Redłowo station.

“A 42 -year -old man attacked our employee – a conductor performing his duties. The aggressive passenger threw himself at him before the conductor managed to ask him to show tickets! The accounts of witnesses show that the man had previously accosted some travelers” – she informed PKP SKM.

He hit the conductor in the head

Policemen appeared on the spot. They determined that the 42-year-old hit the conductor on the head. Fortunately, more serious injuries were avoided. Medical paramedics provided a railway employee stated that hospitalization was not needed.

– The police detained a 42-year-old. The man was under the influence of alcohol, he had 2.5 per mil in the body. He was taken to sobering up. We are currently conducting activities to complete the evidence. We secure monitoring, we have established witnesses that we will interview. We do everything to make this man be charged – said tvn24.pl comm. Jolanta Gunerrt, spokeswoman for the Municipal Police Headquarters in Gdynia.

The proceedings are conducted towards violation of bodily integrity of public officials.

Pursuant to art. 222 §1 of the Penal Code: “Whoever violates the bodily integrity of a public official or a person to help him during and in connection with the performance of official duties is subject to a fine, the penalty of restriction of liberty or deprivation of liberty for up to 3 years”
