A 25-year-old truck driver was injured after an accident that occurred in Złota Woda near Kielce. A man drove his car into a tree while overtaking. The impact was so strong that it crushed the cabin in which the driver was trapped.
A serious accident occurred on Wednesday around 8 a.m. in Złota Woda (Łagów commune, Kielce poviat). On national road No. 74, a truck left the road and fell into a ditch, hitting a roadside tree.
The impact was so strong that the truck's cabin was crushed. As we were informed by junior asp. Beata Gizowska from the Kielce fire brigade, the driver was trapped in the wreck. Firefighters pulled the injured man out and handed him over to paramedics. The man was taken to hospital.

The police are investigating the causes of the accident. – The findings show that the 25-year-old driver of a Scania truck with a semi-trailer, while overtaking a sand plow, lost control of the vehicle and drove off the road.
