“On the occasion of tomorrow's Father's Day, I have a very important message for all dads… WEAR HELMETS!” – Gordon Ramsay wrote on social media on Saturday. The cook reported that he had suffered a “serious accident while riding a bicycle.”
Celebrity Scottish chef Gordon Ramsay announced on social media Saturday that he suffered a “serious bicycle riding accident” in Connecticut in USA. “On the occasion of Father's Day, I have a very important message for all dads… WEAR HELMETS!” – he wrote.
“Everything is fine, I haven't broken any bones or had any major injuries, but I am a bit bruised and look like a purple potato. I am grateful to all the doctors, nurses and staff at Lawerence Memorial Hospital in New London who took care of me, but most of all I am grateful to my helmet, which saved my life,” he added, wishing a nice Father's Day, which, among other things, in the USA and Great Britain it is celebrated on the 3rd Sunday of June (this year on June 16).
In a video posted on social media, he presented the injuries he suffered during the accident. He also shared photos on Instagram showing the damage to his helmet.
