Grodzisk Mazowiecki. A fight with a knife, a man dies

On Friday evening, there was a fight between several men in Grodzisk Mazowiecki. One of them was wounded with a knife and died in hospital – tvnwarszawa.pl reporter Artur Węgrzynowicz found out. The police confirmed that there was an attack with a sharp instrument that ended in tragedy. Two people were detained.

The incident occurred on Friday evening, around 10:40 p.m. near the post office, near the railway station.

– There was an argument in the street between a man who was walking with a woman and passers-by who were walking in the opposite direction. There was a fight. At one point, one of the men pulled out a knife and injured the other, stabbing him several times, including one in the heart – our reporter Artur Węgrzynowicz found out.

The injured man lost consciousness. Two emergency medical teams were dispatched to the site. The injured person was resuscitated while being transported to the hospital. He died there. – The man suspected of the attack was detained a few hours later in one of the blocks of flats in Grodzisk Mazowiecki – Węgrzynowicz learned.

We asked the local police about the incident.

– I confirm the incident involving the use of a sharp instrument and the death of the injured man in hospital. After overnight operations, two people were detained in the case. The activities are carried out under the supervision of the District Prosecutor's Office in Grodzisk Mazowiecki – staff midshipman Katarzyna Zych, spokeswoman for the Grodzisk command, informed us on Saturday morning.

We received the first information about the incident at Contact24. “Something bad happened at the Grodzisk Mazowiecki railway station. The police have fenced off the part on the side of the park, not allowing people to pass. Police officers are working intensively on site, looking for something,” wrote a reader.
