After a fight and a brutal attack in Grodzisk Mazowiecki, 32-year-old Marcin M. was charged with murder in a repeat offense, and the court placed him under temporary arrest for three months. The tragic incident took place last Friday, the injured man died as a result of his injuries. He had several stab wounds.

The attack took place on December 6 at ul. May 1 in Grodzisk Mazowiecki. 32-year-old Marcin M. stabbed his friend several times during an argument that ended in a fight. He attacked the victim in the stomach, arms and chest, including the heart.

The injured man, despite the efforts of medical services, died as a result of his injuries. The perpetrator fled the scene, but was quickly detained by Grodzisk police.

– Due to doubts as to the health condition and sanity of the perpetrator, he was taken to a psychiatric hospital in Tworki, where on Sunday, December 8, he was charged with murder in a repeat offense – said the spokesman for the District Prosecutor's Office in Warsaw, Prosecutor Piotr Antoni Skiba.

He had already been convicted of assault

The prosecutor said that Marcin M. had previously been convicted of assault and served more than half a year in prison.

M. faces a sentence of 10 years to life in prison. Marcin M. has been convicted many times before, including: for crimes against life and health, for robbery and for possession of a significant amount of narcotic drugs.

The man admitted to committing the crime he was accused of. The prosecutor submitted a request for temporary detention for the suspect due to fear of escape, fraud and the threat of a severe penalty. The court accepted these arguments and ordered the 32-year-old arrested for three months.

An argument in the street and a fight in the park

– There was an argument in the street between a man who was walking with a woman and two men who were walking in the opposite direction. A fight broke out between two participants in a nearby park. At one point, one of the men pulled out a knife and injured the other, stabbing him several times, including one in the heart – our reporter Artur Węgrzynowicz found out. – The bloody victim managed to leave the park and fell on the pedestrian crossing – he said.
