Kiernan Hughes-Mason Abused Little Girl. Then He Beat Her Up. Court Showed No Mercy

He hurt an innocent 2-year-old child at the time. The incident occurred at the end of January 2020. Hughes-Mason called an ambulance to the house where he was caring for his partner's daughter. He claimed that he heard a noise in the bedroom and after entering the room it turned out that the girl had fallen on a dollhouse. She was then taken to hospital with serious brain injuries.

Doctors and investigators quickly determined, however, that the cause of the numerous injuries was different. “They can be compared to a road accident that occurs at high speed or a fall from a height of several stories,” the doctor said, quoted by “The Sun”. The injuries suggested that the child had been shaken and his head hit a hard surface.

Later, it turned out that other signs of violence were also found on the girl's body – the child had been beaten earlier. As a result, two charges were brought against the footballer. What exactly? The first was intentional causing of grievous bodily harm. The second concerned abuse of the girl.
