Lublin police have arrested a 52-year-old rapist wanted to serve a prison sentence. The man has already been taken to prison.
The 52-year-old was wanted on an arrest warrant. His whereabouts were determined by officers of the Department of Search and Identification of Persons of the Provincial Police Headquarters in Lublin.
– The arrest took place last Wednesday – informed on Sunday Deputy Commissioner Kamil Karbowniczek from the press team of the Provincial Police Headquarters in Lublin.
He's already gone to prison
The 52-year-old was wanted by the District Police Headquarters in Ustrzyki Dolne on an arrest warrant for, among other things, two rape offences. The man committed these offences in October and November 2020 in Lublin.
– The 52-year-old has already been sent to prison to serve his sentence of almost three years in prison – added Karbowniczek.
The police appeal to the public to provide information about wanted perpetrators of crimes and those hiding from the Polish justice system.
