Apple just showed the iPhone 16 Sony PlayStation 5 Pro. Huawei decided to steal the show and officially presented the Mate XT Ultimate double-foldable smartphone. It wasn't a complete surprise, as there had been a lot of leaks before, but the official presentation could make a stunning impression on technology fans and others.

Huawei showed off a double-foldable smartphone

Mate XT Ultimate folds like an accordion. The smartphone is equipped with three screens, which when unfolded create one large display. The main screen used when the device is folded is 6.4 inch diagonal, after unfolding one panel it grows to 7.9 inches, and adding the last screen we get a display with a diagonal of 10.2 inches and a resolution of 2,232 x 3,184 pixels. Fully folded smartphone It is 12.8 mm thick, with one panel unfolded – 9.3 mm, and when fully unfolded – 4.35 mm.

The smartphone is equipped with a 5600 mAh battery, charging is done at 66W via cable and 50W wirelessly. The triple camera consists of a 50 Mpx main camera, a 12 Mpx wide-angle lens and a 12 Mpx periscope camera. The front camera will allow you to take photos with a resolution of 8 Mpx.

The smartphone is priced at 20,000 yuan (around PLN 10,900) in the cheapest version with 16 GB RAM and 256 GB of internal memory. For now, however, the Mate XT Ultimate will not be available in the West. The smartphone is available in two color versions – black and red, and will go on sale on September 20.

Huawei began taking orders on September 7 and within two days, 2 million people had signed up. After the official presentation, the number of orders increased to 4.5 million.
