Police officers from Inowrocław stopped and fined two drivers who overtook illegally. This dangerous behavior of the drivers was recorded by the police video recorder.
On Sunday (October 6), in the town of Sławęcinek in the Inowrocław district, traffic police officers located the driver of a passenger car who was overtaking at an intersection.
Officers with a video recorder in an unmarked police car recorded the moment of this dangerous maneuver. The driver could not count on a reduced fare. It ended with a fine and penalty points.
– The 40-year-old driver was stopped for a road check and was fined PLN 1,000 and 10 penalty points – said staff aspirant Izabella Drobniecka from the District Police Headquarters in Inowrocław.
Stopped for improper overtaking
A similar situation occurred a day later on national road number 25 in Jaksice in the Inowrocław district.
– The situation was noticed and registered by police officers from the Inowrocław road traffic department from the SPEED group. The resident of Złotniki Kujawskie overtook incorrectly. He was detained for inspection. For this offense, he was fined PLN 1,000 and 10 penalty points, the policewoman said.
She added not to ignore traffic rules. – Incorrect overtaking is one of the three main causes road accidents – summed up staff aspirant Izabella Drobniecka.
