Due to police operations in connection with the search for 35-year-old Izabela Parzyszek, the A4 motorway was blocked in both directions at dawn on Saturday. The woman had been missing for eight days. The route was unblocked after about an hour.
The police action on the A4 motorway was connected to the disappearance of Izabela Parzyszek – the woman was last seen on Friday, August 9. She was driving to the hospital to pick up her father. The vehicle broke down on the A4, near the town of Kwiatów. After arriving at the scene, Ms. Izabela's family found the car and the woman's phone inside. Since then, they have not had any contact with her.
The A4 motorway was blocked
Due to the police investigation, a section of the A4 motorway at 78-79 kilometres in both directions was blocked on Saturday at dawn. This caused traffic disruptions. The police led drivers to a detour through neighbouring towns.
Drone footage shows a police car with sirens on, parked on a deserted highway, and officers with dogs searching for clues to the missing 35-year-old woman.
The action lasted about an hour and was completed before 6 a.m. Traffic on the route was resumed.
