Jerzy Owsiak complained about retirement. He revealed the amount

Jerzy Owsiak is the president of the WOÅšP foundation. In 2019, he made it clear. He revealed how much he earns. “I, Jurek Owsiak, have been working for 6 years in the ZÅ‚oty Melon company, which is a sole proprietorship company belonging only to the WOÅšP Foundation and whose aim is to raise money for the Foundation by conducting all economic activities related to it. I am the president of the management board of this company and my take-home salary is approximately ten thousand zlotys. Its amount has not changed significantly in recent years, because my last raise took place in October 2017 and amounted to PLN 1,000,” he wrote on Facebook. Business Insider, which referred to the financial statements of ZÅ‚ote Melon, reported that in 2022 Owsiak earned approximately PLN 21,900 gross per month, i.e. approximately PLN 14,000 in cash.

In 2013, Owsiak was on air TVN 24 complained about the amount of the calculated pension. It cannot be denied that many people from the world of show business complain about the too low amount of the benefit ZUS – this group includes, among others: Maryla Rodowicz and Krystyna Mazurowna. The journalist did not hide his disappointment. – It's just pathetic, it's very bad, it's very bad. It amounted to PLN 800. It doesn't look good, he complained years ago. The situation is different now. From March 1, 2025, the lowest guaranteed pension will be PLN 1,884.61 gross.

Jerzy Owsiak wants to be professionally active for as long as possible

In 2013, in an interview with Dziennik.pl, Owsiak admitted that he had no intention of quitting his job. – I want to work as long as I can. Activity is the key, it's the best retirement – he said. -I have a company that produces television programs. I make a living from this because I am a volunteer at the foundation. Apart from that, I give lectures and travel around Poland. I don't complain about finances, what I have is enough. Everyone can see my PIT, and I posted a copy of it on my blog.
