On Saturday, the registration certificate of the car driven by Jarosław Kaczyński was seized – said the party's spokesman Rafał Bochenek. Earlier that day, PiS representatives held a protest in front of the Ministry of Justice. The fact that such a situation occurred was confirmed by the Warsaw Police Headquarters. It was indicated that it was not their own intervention, but a reaction to a report and concerned too dark windows in the car.

First, a post on this matter was posted on platform X by party spokesman Rafał Bochenek.

He wrote that “despite important technical inspections and the fact that the car has been approved for use on Polish roads for years, today the services, on Tusk's party orders, seized the registration certificate of the car that Prime Minister Jarosław Kaczyński drives on a daily basis.” PiS MEP Joachim Brudziński added that the reason for stopping the car was “too dark windows” and the car had “current technical inspections.”

The fact that such an intervention took place was confirmed in an interview with tvn24.pl by junior cadet Bartłomiej Śniadała from the press team of the Warsaw Police Headquarters.

– This was not the police officers' own intervention. The officers responded to a report from a person who informed them and pointed out a car whose windows may not meet the standard for light transmittance. As police officers, we have an obligation to respond to such reports. The officers intervened and seized the vehicle's registration certificate, issued a ban on further driving of the car, and also imposed a fine of one hundred złoty on the driver of the car – he said.

He confirmed that the intervention took place at around 3 p.m., immediately after the protest, Law and Justice organized in the early afternoon in front of the Ministry of Justice building.
