Kłodzko. He resigned right after the flood

– It pained me to do it, but I simply could not stand the situation mentally and physically. On Thursday (September 19) last week, I resigned from work with immediate effect based on Article 55 of the Labor Code, i.e. due to the employer's fault. I simply could not stand the situation, and it was dictated by the behavior of the starosta, which was an affront to my dignity, scope of duties, my work. I was treated like trash by the starosta – says Jan Kalfas, former head of the Crisis Management Department at the Kłodzko County Office, in an interview with us.

Jan Kalfas has been working in this position for four years. – I kept to my duties and was at my post, despite the fact that the starost did not inform me about anything, only gave me orders. The last straw that threw me off balance came on Thursday, then I could not take it anymore – he added in an interview with tvn24.pl. He emphasizes that he does not stop helping, although now he does not take any important decisions.

– I want to leave this without comment. The Director of the Crisis Management Department resigned at a time of extreme situation, i.e. in crisis management. Mr. Grzegorz Sinkiewicz immediately took on the duties of the director of crisis management. I supported the team with four employees – says Małgorzata Jędrzejewska-Skrzypczyk, the starosta of Kłodzko.

– I received information in the evening that the head of the Crisis Management Department at the District Office in Kłodzko had resigned from his position. It was quite a big surprise for me, because in such a situation, at such a time, it is a bit devastating to hear that there is such a problem there. As mayor, I received information that this gentleman has already been replaced by another person – said the mayor of Kłodzko.

As he added, at the moment this cooperation is correct.
