We are not present in all formulas, it would be better if Poland was invited – this is what Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski said about the meeting of the leaders of four countries in Berlin regarding, among others, Ukraine, in “Fakty po Faktach” on TVN24. At the same time, he stated that “it was a haphazardly organized meeting” and “no decisions were made there.”

The Polish representative was not invited to these talks.
Sikorski about the “hastily organized” meeting
The Minister of Foreign Affairs spoke about this matter in “Fakty po Faktach” on TVN24 Radosław Sikorski.
When asked if it was German Chancellor Olaf Scholz's idea that the Polish representative should not be present at this meeting, he replied: – Probably yes. Mostly, hosts decide who they want to invite.
– We are not present in all formulas – he admitted.
– No decisions were made there. A statement has been published. From what I hear, yes Middle East dominated the decisions made there. Please remember that this was a haphazard meeting organized as a replacement for the meeting at which the president was supposed to be present Andrzej Duda in Ramstein. I wouldn't attach so much importance to it, Sikorski continued.
Meeting in Ramstein, among others with the participation of Scholz and Joe Biden was planned for October 12but a few days earlier it was canceled due to the American president's resignation. He decided to stay in the country because Hurricane Milton was approaching the USA.
Sikorski: it would be better if Poland was invited
Sikorski added in this context that recently (October 17-18) “the European Council was more important, where all of Europe supported the migration strategy.” – It was a much more important meeting than Joe Biden's de facto farewell to the countries that were there (in Berlin – ed.), he said.
At the same time, Sikorski admitted that “it would be better if Poland was invited” to the German capital. – This is why the chancellor has already been criticized by the opposition, the CDU. I hope that this will give our neighbors food for thought, because I will remind you that when Poland is present, decisions are better – said the TVN24 guest.
