Serious accident on the A2 motorway in Leonów near Zgierz (Łódź Voivodeship). The passenger car hit energy-absorbing barriers and rolled over. Four people were taken to hospital, one is in a serious condition. The route towards Warsaw may be blocked for up to two hours.
The incident occurred around 3 p.m. on the 348th kilometer of the A2 motorway in Leonów near Zgierz, on the lane towards Warsaw. The services received information about a passenger car overturning.

– A passenger car overturned on the A2 motorway. Four people were traveling in it, all of them were taken to hospital. One of the injured people is in a serious condition, said senior Dominik Wilk from the fire brigade in Zgierz.

The road towards Warsaw is blocked, police officers have marked detours.
At the Emilia junction, go towards Zgierz and then take the provincial road 702 to the A2 motorway. Difficulties following the accident may last two hours.
