Lutungi are herbivorous monkeys, whose lives take place mainly in the crowns of trees. According to their guardians, they are very social and curious. In nature, they live in herds of several to a dozen individuals. An interesting fact is that young are born with a lighter fur – thanks to this adult individuals can easily see them and protect them from danger. Thanks to the brighter coloration, visitors to the Łódź zoo will easily see the youngest individual who is already on the Lutungian catwalk in the Orientarium building.
