According to the Lubin police, after a moment, the community police officers began to provide aid to the 49-year-old victim. The officers did not feel a pulse at all, so they briefly performed resuscitation on the woman, which led to the woman's heart beating again and the airways being cleared.

“Jakub, seeing the police officers administering first aid and hearing the ambulance approaching with sirens blaring, went out to the road and directed the ambulance to the right place so that it would reach the unconscious woman as quickly as possible.” These coordinated actions undoubtedly led to saving the woman's life – says Senior Warrant Officer Krzysztof Pawlik from the Lubin police.
The boy received a diploma and small gifts from the police.
On Thursday, the boy, his parents and the police officers who intervened, were invited to the District Police Headquarters in Lubin. For his attitude, Kuba received a diploma and small gifts, including a mascot of the “Lion Commissioner” and a “Friend of the Police” statuette. The teenager's parents received a letter of congratulations for their son. “It is worth mentioning here that Jakub's father is a police officer, so the son certainly takes his example from his parent,” the police added.
