A 66-year-old man died under the wheels of a truck in Lubliniec (Silesia). The car hit the man while the driver was reversing. The police, under the supervision of the prosecutor's office, are investigating the circumstances of the fatal accident.
The accident occurred after 7 a.m. on Przemysłowa Street in Lubliniec. Lubliniec traffic police, an ambulance crew and fire brigades were sent to the scene.
The 66-year-old died at the scene.
“According to initial findings, a 64-year-old resident of Częstochowa County, driving a truck, hit a pedestrian while reversing. Despite the efforts of paramedics, the life of the 66-year-old resident of our county could not be saved,” the District Police Headquarters in Lubliniec reported.

The driver of the truck was sober. The services worked at the scene of the accident for several hours. The police are conducting the proceedings in the case of the accident under the supervision of the District Prosecutor's Office in Lubliniec.
