Staff aspirant Sylwia Serafin, press officer of the Poviat Police Commander in Lubin, said that the incident occurred on Monday (April 14) around 12 o'clock. To Primary School number 1 in Lubin, during a break, a man aged 65. He went to the school secretariat, with a hammer in his hand, threatening to employees of the institution. One of the secretariat's employees, using the moment of inattention of the attacker, ran out of the room, pushing her friend, who was also in this room. Teachers also reacted quickly, closing the students in the classroom. The man himself was locked up in the secretariat by school staff.

They overpowered and detained
Policemen who quickly arrived entered the secretariat, where they found a man holding a hammer and pliers. He tried to swing the officers, but he was overpowered and detained. He went to a police cell, and then he was taken blood for tests.
During the incident, the man cut telephone, internet cables and cables from multifunctional devices in the secretariat.
As established, last year the same man was detained for cutting internet cables in the block in which he lived – he damaged the box with wires.
