Adam Małysz became the ambassador of the “Skok do Życia” campaign conducted by Hormann. The president of the Polish Ski Association donated several items for auction, the proceeds of which will go to helping children from orphanages. These include: dinner with a ski jumping legend.
Małysz's involvement in a new charity campaign was considered by the portal Interia.pl as an affront to the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity, which Małysz has supported for years. “Adam Małysz will not play with WOŚP. He supported another foundation,” the portal announced.
After Saturday's team competition at Wielka Krokiew in Zakopane, Małysz talked to journalists about sports, but at the end he also devoted a few words to the confusion surrounding his involvement in the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity.
– I would say this: do something yourself and see how hard it is and how much joy you can bring to others – he appealed to the haters of Jerzy Owsiak, the leader of the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity. And he firmly denied the rumors that he had stopped supporting WOŚP.
– I get involved in various campaigns, for example the one with Hormann “Jump for life”. They came to me and told me that it was for children who leave the orphanage and are left with nothing, and they want to help them go. in the right direction, find some purpose in life and also want to help financially, so why shouldn't I get involved? Especially since it's called a jump, which is always associated with jumping. I am also an ambassador of “Wings for Life”, and so is Jurek Owsiak itself we cooperate. This year we gave him a beautiful rack made of old wooden skis. There are only two of them, the other one is in our office in PZN. The hanger for WOŚP is signed by ski jumpers, Maryna Gąsienica-Daniel (our best alpine skier), and the snowboarding world champion, Oskar Kwiatkowski. I hope it will be auctioned as high as possible. I'm not even talking about all these regional initiatives: T-shirts, hats, various things. We support all campaigns that need it, explains Małysz. – I got angry, to be honest, when I heard somewhere that Małysz no longer supported the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity, he left the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity because he supported Hormann's “Jump to Life” campaign. Holy crap, no! It shouldn't have happened at all – concludes Małysz.
