“Madame Web” with the worst film of the year. Golden raspberries 2025 were awarded

Golden raspberries are a counterweight to the prestigious awards of the American Film Academy. According to tradition, they are granted 24 hours before Oscar gala. Anti -Nenar was invented by film critic John JB Wilson.

The most golden raspberry was received by the film “Madame Web”, which received the title of the worst film, and the performer of the title role – Dakota Johnson – was recognized as the worst actress. The film “Highlified” was also in the worst script category, for which Matt Sazama and Burk Sharples as well as Claire Parker and SJ Clarkson were responsible.

The films “Joker: Folie a Deux”, “Without Lucer” and “Megapolis” received two statuettes. The film “Without icing” received a raspberry for a leading actor, which was awarded to Jerry Seinfirld and supporting actress – this statuette went to Amy Schumer.

The latest installment of “Joker” received raspberries in terms of the worst prequel, remake, rip-off or sequel and in the category of the screen duo for the roles of Joaquin Phoenix, who played the title Joker and Lady Gaga, who played Harley Quinn.

Jon Voight received the title of the worst supporting actor for performances in the films “Strangers”, “Shadow Land”, “Reagan” and “Megapolis”.

A positive accent of golden raspberries is the redemption reward. This year, Pamela Anderson received her for the movie “The Last Showgirl”. The role in the film “bought” for the performance in “Żyleta” from 1996.

The creator of “Megapolis” – Francis Ford Coppola – received Malina for the worst directing. “Won” in this competition, among others with Todd Phillips (“Joker: Folie a Deux”) and elim Roth (“Borderlands”). The director referred to the golden raspberries, in connection with this year's verdict, in the Instagram post:

“I am exciting with golden raspberries for 'Megalopolis' in so many important categories, this is a unique honor to be nominated for the worst directing, the worst script and the worst film in times, when only a few have the courage to oppose trends prevailing in contemporary cinema!” – Coppola wrote on Instagram.

He added that “in the world in which we lived, in which art today admits points as in professional wrestling, I decided not to follow the rules set by the industry with such a terrified risk that despite the huge pool of young talents he has, it may not create movies that will be current in 50 years.”

“What kind of honor to be alongside such a wonderful and bold filmmaker like Jacques Tati, who ruined financially to create Playtime – one of the beloved cinema defeats. I honestly thank all my brilliant colleagues who joined me to create our work of art, megalopolis, and remember that Box Office is just a matter of money, just like War, stupidity and politics do not have a real place in our future, “Coppola emphasized.
