Biejat spoke more about the reasons for her decision in “Fakty po Faktach” on TVN24. – When I joined the Razem party in 2015, it was a party about changing the world for the better. I believe that today the path to changing the world for the better does not lead to eternal criticism of everyone around us, it does not lead to dividing the Left at a time when the extreme right is growing in strength, she said.

She added that this path “leads through being in the Left parliamentary club, through trying to influence this government and redirect it further to the left.” – I think that what we need today are left-wing parties that can cooperate with each other and that can show that they fought for something, having the tools they have – Biejat continued.

– This government is far from our dreams. It is a government in which social issues certainly have to be fought for very hard, but that does not mean that they cannot be fought for, said the deputy speaker of the Senate.

The story about the “fundamental division”

Biejat said that today there is a “fundamental division” in the Razem party. – On the one side, there are those who remained in the Razem party, who believe that the most important thing is to always stand in the only right positions and from these only right positions prove that only they are the best and are right. And convince everyone around you to do so, she said.

She said that the second group consists of people who have just decided to leave the party, who believe that it is necessary to fulfill the promises made to voters and implement the program with which they went to the elections.
