Mariusz Błaszczak in the prosecutor's office, he heard the allegation and made explanations

Former head of the Ministry of National Defense, PiS MP Mariusz Błaszczak He appeared on Friday at the Military Department of the District Prosecutor's Office in Warsaw. The politician was questioned in connection with declassification and disclosure in 2023 a fragment of the Plan of the use of the Polish Armed Forces “Warta”. After leaving the prosecutor's office after 14 Blaszczak announced that he had explained and confirmed that he had heard the charge in this case.

– I made explanations. I explained to the prosecutor that I had the right and obligation to declare these archival documents – said the MP. He assessed that the allegations were “unfounded”.

Until then, the prosecutor's office regarding the interrogation did not appear.

Earlier in front of the prosecutor's office, in addition to Błaszczak, PiS politicians appeared, including the president Jarosław Kaczyńskiformer head of the Ministry of National Defense Antoni Macierewicz, Janusz Kowalski and a large group of party supporters. The protest was organized under the slogan “Stop storage”. PiS supporters had white and red flags and banners with slogans critical at the government, such as “germanization of profits, polonization of losses with the government program” or “Tusk, symbol of anti-polonism”.

On March 6, the Sejm repealed the immunity and agreed to pull Błaszczak to criminal liability. The prosecutor's office applied for this.

The plan to use the Polish Armed Forces WARTA-00101 is a document from 2011 regarding the method of defense against a possible attack Russia. Referring to this document, Blaszczak accused PO politicians – publicly disclosing during the campaign before parliamentary elections in 2023 its fragments – that during their rule they planned in the event of an invasion of the defense of the state on the Vistula line and “devoting half the country to the attacker”.
