US Secretary of State Marco Rubio on the occasion of the Polish Day of the 3rd May Constitution wished Poles and told Poles that “our common future never appeared brighter.”
In his announcement on the occasion of the Polish holiday, Rubio wished all Poles a “joyful” holiday and reminded about the common values and history of both countries. He also pointed to the current cooperation and the future, which – as he said – “never appeared brighter.”
“When the Grand Sejm adopted the first modern constitution of Europe on May 3, 1791, he codified democratic principles, which are also expensive of our young American Republic. These principles, bravely listed in the face of external threats, united and inspired both our nations for centuries,” wrote Rubio.

He noted that in recent years Poland “has radically strengthened our joint security thanks to its commitment to NATO and continues to accept thousands of American soldiers”, and commercial relations “bloom”, expressing the expectation of further strengthening of cooperation in the field of energy security.
“With satisfaction, I expect that the next year we will support the values that we share – freedom, prosperity, security and democracy” – concluded the head of American diplomacy.
